Terms and Conditions
Last updated 19 October 2026
1. Who we are
Floor2Model is owned and operated by Virkley ApS, a company registered in Denmark ("Virkley", "we", "us"). By uploading a floorplan to Floor2Model and ticking the box to agree, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
Floor2Model converts an image of a 2D floorplan into an editable 3D model. You may upload, convert and edit without an account. Downloading the finished model as a GLB file requires a one-time payment processed by Stripe. The service accepts image files such as PNG and JPG. CAD files are not supported.
3. Your uploads are saved
Every time you upload a floorplan, we save it. We keep the image you upload and the 3D model generated from it, together with any edits you make to the model.
4. How we may use your uploads
By ticking the box to agree to these terms, you consent to Virkley storing, processing and using the floorplans you upload, and the models generated from them, to provide the service and to train and improve our AI models and the service itself. You grant Virkley a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for those purposes. We reserve the right to use uploaded floorplans for training and improvement.
You keep whatever rights you already have in your floorplan. This licence does not transfer ownership of your floorplan to us.
5. Your download licence
After successful payment, you receive a non-exclusive licence to download and use the GLB file generated for that job for your own projects, including commercial projects. Virkley retains all rights in the software, AI models, service, and any improvements derived from training. The output is not survey-grade or architectural documentation.
6. What you confirm when you upload
When you upload a floorplan, you confirm that:
- you own the floorplan or have the right to upload it and to grant the licence in section 4;
- the floorplan does not infringe anyone else's rights; and
- you have removed, or are comfortable sharing, any personal information shown on it, such as names or addresses.
Please do not upload floorplans of secure or classified facilities or any material you are not allowed to share.
7. Payment, refunds and withdrawal
Downloading the GLB file is paid. Payment is processed by Stripe, and the fee is shown at checkout before you pay. Access to download unlocks when payment succeeds.
All sales are final once payment succeeds and download is unlocked. We do not promise refunds. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a goodwill refund or re-process a job for technical failure; that does not create a right to a refund.
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA: by paying for immediate delivery of digital content (the download unlock), you request that we begin supply before the end of the usual 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once supply of the digital content has begun.
8. Acceptable use and age
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes trying to disrupt it, bypass upload or payment limits, scrape it automatically, reverse engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Floor2Model is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to make a payment.
9. Accuracy and no professional advice
The AI reads most floorplans well, but no conversion is perfect. We do not guarantee that a model matches your floorplan or that dimensions are exact. The service is not a substitute for an architect, engineer, surveyor or building-code compliance. You alone are responsible for checking the model against your original plan, using the editor to correct it, and deciding whether it is suitable for your purpose. Do not rely on the output for construction, safety or legal decisions without independent professional verification.
10. Availability and suspension
We try to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Conversion times can vary, and we may limit uploads, change features, or suspend the service at any time. We may suspend or limit access for abuse, quota exhaustion, security risk or legal risk.
11. Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virkley disclaims all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of dimensions or geometry, and uninterrupted or error-free access.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virkley is not liable for indirect or consequential loss; loss of data, profit or business; cost of substitute services; or loss arising from reliance on the output for construction, safety or legal decisions.
Virkley's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a particular job is limited to the amount you paid to Virkley for that job's download unlock (and zero if you have not paid).
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with a paid download is, at Virkley's option, a re-process of that job or a refund of the amount paid for that download. Offering either is discretionary and does not create a general refund right.
You will indemnify Virkley against claims, losses and costs arising from your uploads (including content you lacked rights to use or personal data on a floorplan), your breach of these terms, or your use of the output.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful, or mandatory consumer rights.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual property complaints
If you believe content on the service infringes your intellectual property rights, email info@virkley.com with enough detail for us to identify the material and your claim.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes will be brought before the Danish courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
